A Little Boy & his Play-doh creations!

For the past few weeks, Emma & Bryce have really enjoyed playing with Play-doh and creating to their hearts content! Bryce and I get special "Momma time" when Em decides to nap mid-day. Bryce gets to choose the activity and he knows exactly what he wants to do each time. He is very particular and communicates quite effectively! The usual routine is that he will come over to me, pound on my leg and say "Momma"!!!! When I look at him, he waves at me to come follow him to the kitchen. When we get there he pulls at the fridge and says "Open"-we promptly get him a snack (usually string cheese or bologna & some milk) then he so cutely says "Tay-too" (Thank You!) and giggles with delight. (It really is the cutest thing). Then he instructs me to follow him back to the dining room and points to the Play-doh box and climbs up to the table (sometimes the high chair) ready to get to work on his masterpiece! The funniest gasp always comes out of his little mouth when he hears the rubbermaid box crack open-like his excitement will burst! He has learned how to use all the little gadgets inside by watching his big sister-it can keep him mesmerized for quite some time! If he questions how to use something, he tries it a couple times, and then says "Uh oh Momma" and hands it to me for further instructions....what a smart little man. He's never tried to eat it, just wants to build things....could I ask for a better little boy? Mike is so excited to fill the kids stockings this year with all sorts of Play-doh factory fun-so we'll see what excitement is in store after that!
