The Incredible HULK Haircut!

Check out the haircut Brycey boy got today! The barber even let him pick out colored hair gel for a cool "halloween" effect! He pick "Hulk" green! Duh-what else :) He's also hanging on to his trick or treat goodie bag that they gave him for being such a good boy and sitting perfectly still! YAY for Brycey!

What Would You Do?

With these 3 things?
Make Franken-TOES of course!
Em is oober excited to share these with her friends at our preschool Halloween Centers!  She is also taking in these super cute baggies of carrots (that a friend found for us at WALMART! Love that place-always has "odd" stuff! ha ha ha) with Green Goblin Goo for dipping (ranch dressing with neon green food coloring added)!
Then we turned these-
into these...
And when all these snack projects these were finally finished, I glanced around at my counters and noticed all the "leftover" stuff. So-I asked myself, what to do with all this?????
Well-make this of course! Chocolate covered Witch Wands-otherwise known as the easiest snack in the world...
and these Baby Bats-Not my finest, but the kids will like it all the same :)
Happy Halloweeeeeeeeen everyone!

Redonkulous????

Well....You tell me!

Just another day in la Casa de Martone!

A New Favorite....

I bought this book at Freddies back at the beginning of the month, and have been begged to read it to the kids before bed EVERY night since! It's a pretty cute book-I must admit. Just like the traditional Wheels on the Bus song, but everything revolves around Halloween :)
This morning I caught Em in the kitchen reading the book (which she apparently has memorized) to "HER" puppy Pey Pey. He's such a good boy-he just sits and listens and listens while she lays all over him and hugs on him. Sweet thing.
Had to capture the moment on camera.

Girls Fall Scrapbooking 2010

It was that time again-an event that kicks off the next 3 months of girls nights....fall scrapbooking! Today we did a double layout with a Halloween theme. Everyone brought a brunch item to share and I created the kits. As usual-it was great fun, and I am grateful for Mike keeping the kids occupied & taking care to NOT destroy the house in the process. In fact...when I woke up this morning, he was cleaning the kitchen & doing the dishes so it would be cleaned up before my friends arrived! What a great guy I've got! I'm one lucky gal :) Love you Poobee.
LOVE LOVE LOVE my cricut still. Best addition to my scrapbooking collection-EVER! Especially the SCAL software. Look at the cute SVG files I bought for it on etsy...for $2! (it came with about 11 other files too-but I only used the cauldron, spiderweb & chandelier for this layout). A great use of $2 I'd say....

I made each of my friends a goodie bag of "Poisoned Caramel Apples" to take home. Just a small container of Mike's Mom's special recipe caramel, and some mini red apples on-top. Plus-a cute tag makes ANYTHING adorable...I have a new obsession with tags-LOVE THEM! :)

One of my friends brought this breakfast casserole called "Eyeball Casserole" and it was DELISH!
And among other things there was this oober yummy cobweb peach danish too.....thank goodness I got this pict, because it was gone lickity split!
Can't wait for our Thanksgiving themed pages next month!
