IKEA kitchens-who knew?
Finished planning for our new cabinetry-thanks to the quick tutorial we got from the IKEA sales associate a couple weeks ago. Super easy-and basically the same program the guy used when we ordered our RIDICULOUSLY priced bathroom vanity from Home Depot 6 years ago :)
The difference? IKEA has a 25 year warranty-it is all in stock, ready to come home the day we want, AND it cost 1/4 of the price! AMAZING! We never thought this would be in the cards for us.
Let the FUNDS begin!
We are excited to say the least!
Not just because it is our family's #1 favorite place to go together,
Not just because it is our FAVORITE time of year to celebrate at the Happiest Place on Earth
but because....
Grammie & Grandpa are going to meet us down there for part of our fun this year!

RED
About a month ago I ordered some things for Bryce from the Disney Store for Christmas. Among the items were a few of his favorite "hot wheels" type CARS characters. He already has a bunch of the characters but there were 3 in particular that he doesn't have that would make perfect stocking stuffers. I quickly ordered and checked over my shopping cart (which has pictures of each item next to the list of purchases) and called it good after reading it 3 times.
Complete Order-CHECK!
When the box arrived in the mail I went through the inventory & found this little guy at the bottom of the shipping box.
Disney CARS character called: "Red"
I thought-Weird....Bryce already has that one-in fact it was one of the FIRST ones he ever owned. I KNOW I didn't order it. But there is was. Clear as day. Odd. I didn't obsess about it and figured I'd just put it in the closet for a gift for whoever at some point.
A couple weeks later-Mike sent me an email about the family that we had adopted for Christmas this year.
Single mom and 4 year old boy.....
and there just as clear as the extra ordered item in my Disney Store box it read "LOVES FIRETRUCKS"!
Coincidence? I think not. And suddenly it all made sense.
I love when our Heavenly Father works through us like that. LOVE it!
Restoration Hardware! Who Knew?
My newest favorite shop. Ohhhhhh-I am in LOVE and it is NOT A GOOD THING. Just look at a few of my picks to drool over:
Are you KIDDING me? Pottery Barn-move on over. There's a new girl in town :) (Go figure this store has been around for a while-Mike & I even perused it some in High School, but I DO NOT recall these type of fabulous treasures???) Be still my heart. Be still.

How did I EVER live without Pinterest....seriously folks....seriously. Gave me some awesome inspiration for christmas gifts this year. Like this for my favorite hairdresser in town:
She LOVES it-I do to. It will look so darn cute in her posh little salon.
Then I am going to do this to the stool that Mike made me...obviously in the hopes to save it as a family heirloom.
And last-I am already in the process of making this little gem. Can't wait to finally have a growth chart in the house-a CUTE one at that! I've wanted one since Bryce was born but never found one I liked, or was my style-THIS however, has KRISTI written all over it! :)

Whoville Hullaballoo!!!
Things are becoming SERIOUSLY Seussish around here these days....only 2 days left until my biggest function of the school year and then I can FINALLY relax for 2 whole weeks! I can't wait! Christmas movies, books & snuggling with my babies....until then-here is the turmoil spilled all over my house :)
