Preschool LOVE Fest

Today was our Valentine celebration at Preschool-Last night I printed out labels with pictures of their friends & their names on them, this way when they go to hand them out, they could do it by themselves and feel successful! I sat down with the kids and they labeled each of their cards on their own. It was cute to see Bryce recognizing some of his preschool friends on the sticker like, Ayden and Amie and say their name all excited as he stuck down the label! Emma put a little more thought into hers....she'd look at a card and THEN pick who was going to get that particular one before she labeled it! She of course picked out (what else....) Princess & The Frog cards, and Bryce picked out Toy Story ones (his latest obsession) with 3D bookmarks!
The theme of the party was "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse". I made all of the kids these fun Mickey Wizard party hats for a little added festive fun.
For snack the kids had Chocolate Milk and Mickey or Minnie Apple & Cheese kabobs-because food is ALWAYS more fun on a stick!
These were the center activities that each child was able to rotate to:
1. Cooking/Decorating-Individual Mickey Mouse Fruit Pizzas-(the kids cooked them at school yesterday so they would be ready to decorate today!)

2. Make a Jumbo Magic Mickey bouncey ball-(these were fun kits I found on clearance at some random toy shop online)

3. Complete a Valentine Scrapbook (the kids handed out their valentines to each others mailbox cubbies first thing this morning-and when it came time for this center-they were able to go through their fun goodies and have their valentines read to them by the parent helper and then stick them down on a page in their book, where they can be enjoyed in ONE spot-instead of all over the floor!)
It was as chaotic as I expected, but full of fun & excitement. Emma is STILL admiring her Valentines that say "E for Emma" (as she says)! It was a good day.
P.S. There aren't many pictures of Brycey boy because he was hanging out with his favorite person "Miss Heather" during our party. :)
