Teanaway Adventures

Friday afternoon I decided we needed to go camping-again. Ran the idea past Mike & a couple hours later, we were in the car for our 20 minute ride out to our favorite wilderness location-TEANAWAY! We've been doing most of our regular camping there for quite some time now, and love it more & more each time.
The plan was to stay one night-just a quick trip, but soon after we arrived, we bumped into Donovan (one of Mike's co-workers) & his kids. We invited them over to our site for s'mores and Em & Bryce LOOOOOVED playing with Sierra & Taylor-so we figured, what the heck-it's summer, we'll stay another night! It's nice camping so close to home because I was able to drive back into town for some more food & clothes-no big deal. I had also left my camera at home that first day & was having some serious withdrawls-so I grabbed the pocket cam on my way back-just to get back to camp & realize there was NO S.D card in it! Ugh-these are the only 6 picts that the internal memory would store. Boo!
The kids all played card games together (Sierra & Taylor are the same age gap as E & B, but they are 12 & 13 now). They are super close siblings, and seriously sweet kids! So patient with our 2, and actually seemed to genuinely enjoy entertaining them .
We found a watering hole and spent the afternoons skipping rocks, setting up targets to throw stones at, flinging sticks into the river for the dogs to swim after and floating the river on the kids giant whale float (including the 2 biggest kids-dad & Donovan)! Jiffy pop,  a little more s'mores and some flashlight stories in bed-before we knew it, our trip was over. :(

Until next time-Teanaway, we LOVE you!
