Already Enjoying the new Camper

2 days after we bought the new RV we were ready to take it out for a spin! I made some vinyl lettering for the walls because it needed a little "home" touch. :) I'm not gonna lie-it's been fun creating a list of things to do to decorate the space to my liking such as: add family pictures to the walls,  replace the metal mini blinds with wood ones, change the upholstery colors (but I would have to get some MAJOR help with that-sewing is NOT my forte!), change the wall color in the bathroom, and put slate looking vinyl flooring in but.....all in good time :) Thank goodness the space is so small-this could all take me FOREVER otherwise! Until then-things look just fine.
Peyton oversees the vinyl projects....
in the dining room...

and in the kitchen...

and in the bathroom...
the kids got new sleeping bags from Grandpa & Grammie yesterday, so they were excited to use them in their new "camping bedroom".
We went to a fun RV park in Ephrata called Oasis. Our friends Courtney, Brydon & Gwen met us out there & camped next to us in their camper again too! I love that Court will pack up her kids & their camper on a moments notice & come out on a spur of the moment adventure! What a rock star!
At the RV park there was Put Put golf, a chipping golf course, a kiddie fishing pond, a swimming pool & even this cute little chapel on the grounds (totally up my alley-and yes, I thought about all the photo shoot possibilities!).
We spent a lot of time swimming & riding bikes.

Check out that farmers tan! Thank goodness this skin will see San Diego sun in a few days!

There was a lot of grass around our site, so they kids & dogs were able to play.

Brinkley hated being tied up. So she chewed herself free from the rope while I blinked (literally).

Peyton relaxed in the shade of the new camper. It was 92 degrees out there. Pleasant, but warm.

Jerica let us borrow her grill (which we are in LOVE with-it is on our list of "to-get" camping supplies. Just waiting for a fantastic sale at Freddies!)

I went a little nuts with the s'mores ingredients....thought it would be fun to try different variations?!
Check out the possibilities:
MARSHMALLOWS
-Toasted Coconut
-Disney Cars shapes
-Caramel Vanilla
-Chocolate striped Zebra

CHOCOLATE
-Cadbury's Dairy Milk (MY staple)
-Reese's Peanut Butter BAR
-Traditional Hershey's
-Hershey's Cookies & Cream

Poor Brydon fell down the stairs from their truck camper & freaked out! Nothin a little s'mores can't fix though :)

The Toasted Coconut Marshmallow with Cookies & Cream chocolate was THE BEST!

Time for relaxing. Kids & puppies in the dining room turned living room with popcorn & a movie before bed.

That didn't last long before.....
they ALL took themselves to bed!
It was another really good trip. We learned a lot about how to work our new vehicle & the little things we can get to make each trip even more smooth. Thanks to Dad, Kathleen, Joe & Courtney for the tips & tricks for this new world of RVing.
