Sun-kissed Cousins

Today was Memorial Day-overcast & dreary-but who cares....we were determined to make the most of it! Mike had to get some schoolwork done for his principal degree, so Ashley and I decided to pack some lunches and throw the kids in the car for a trip to the Moses Lake Waterpark. It was 70 degrees and a bit humid out, but we figured-if it started raining, whatever-that would just ADD to the adventure! :) My sister is such a good sport!
Bryce was all over it! He even got to wear his new HULK tattoo to the pool (which pretty much washed off the second it was covered in chlorinated water....sad)
Emma couldn't have been more excited to be there-can't you tell?
Auntie Ashley was great-she took care of the kids the entire time...so I got to do what I love best-use my Nikon! These 2 just LOVE their Auntie!
Go figure that 10 minutes after we get there-Ashley bumped into our cousin Parker! Crazy??? Yes! He had 2 year old Natalie and 8 month old Christopher with him.
EmmaLee and Natty had an INSTANT connection! They were stuck together like Bee's & Honey the ENTIRE time! Emma kept saying "Come on my friend!"
They were 2 peas in a pod-Natty & Em. Two little dare devils with a whole lot of spunk and thirst for adventure-not a care in the world!
Bryce-he enjoyed the usual....people watching! And a little snackie poo! :)
Like long lost buddies...
Then this little turkey decided he was pretty brave too-and I turned around just in time to literally "catch" this shot! You may be wondering if I just about had a stroke???? YES! However-he is pretty darn proud of himself and the muscles he is building! lol
This is Ashley's 2nd attempt at bodyboarding....did I mention both times it lasted 1.3 seconds???? Yep-she's not very skilled in that area! lol-sorry Ash!
Then of course Parker has a go and even completes a full barrel roll.....ha ha ha-pretty smooth.
One last go around the lazy river-and afterwards the girls are both pouting about the fact that it is time to head home. What a SUPER fun and surprising memory making day with family we rarely get to see!
