Tricky Traps

We made the annual Leprechaun traps last night-here are the end results:

Dad and Bryce set to work after B collected up all his green Duplos. He was SO proud of it-couldn't wait to share it with all his buddies at school. He especially loved that he and Dadda made it together. Em cut one of her toy necklaces in half & gave one to strand to her brother-they each got to spray paint the strand of jewels GOLD! That was another highlight for them. lol

 EmmaLee and I took the "Emerald City" approach: we found a green bucket in her room & gathered up some pieces of the Marble Run toy. Em made the rainbow & couldn't have been happier that I let her use wet glue & glitter by herself :/ She also painted a couple portion cups black for she & her brother to use as "pots of gold".

They can't WAIT to catch a little gnome tonight! Tomorrow is a much anticipated school day full of rainbows, gold & teeny tiny footprints!!!!
