Already?

Today our 4 year old, (YIKES-4 already....) woke up to see her traditional birthday donut with birthday candles, served on "the red plate" & gifts from family.

From Mom & Dad she got  a Tangled Dress Up Dress & Vanity set (thank you Walmart after xmas clearance!!!) She is absolutely nuts for the Rapunzel hair extensions it came with. She sat all morning brushing them & singing along with the Tangled soundtrack that was playing in the background. :)

The first words out of her mouth were-"YAY, now Maddy can play Punzel with me, cuz she has a Punzel dress too Mom! (she'll be SO tickled to see that Maddy is part of her surprise tomorrow! shhhhhh)
When she looked up and saw the streamers she whispered "Oh wow-even Punzel hair on the ceiling!" ha ha ha. I love her creativity & how she soaks up the little details.

From her brother she got a set of Disney Princess shaped crayons, a Tangled sticker book, some new princess PEZ dispensers (my kids are NUTS for them), and a $5 gift card to Starbucks for her favorite Hot Chocky!

Auntie Ashley got her a set of Nightmare Before Christmas (what she calls Disneyland Spooky House) figurines & matching movie for our new Apple TV setup and a phone call from Auntie who was on her way to work, wishing her a happy #4!

They are funky I know-but since Disneyland at Halloween-she is crazy over this flick....not my cup of tea. I don't understand that Tim Burton guy....
Grandpa & Grammie sent her a Leapster Exlplorer with pink purse storage case & Tangled game. She LOVES it-and especially the pink purse it goes in. lol

And Grandma & Papa got her this:
Her first flatscreen TV for her room! Goodbye to that ancient monster that is sitting on the dresser & goodbye to Dora, Barbie movies & Sleeping Beauty in the living room!!!! (At least that's the plan) What a lucky, spoiled little chickadee she is!
Nana called and sang Happy Birthday to her & let her know that Momma has a surprise gift for her tomorrow from Nana! Yesterday Nana's barbie princess card arrived with the traditional $1 for each year of your age (something my Grandma Carol always did for us growing up). Emma looks forward to it. When she opened it and saw the crisp new bills, she counted 4 and knew why...then she told me she would "use 1 at Starbucks for some hot chocky and put the other ones in her money box for Disneyland".
We've spent all morning dancing & twirling and squealing to the Tangled Soundtrack-next stop...STARBUCKS! Birthdays are so fun.
On the docket for tonight-Dinner & special shopping trip with Auntie Shannon & a surprise "Rapunzel Lantern" send off...stay tuned!
UPDATE:

They've sang to her at this same restaurant over fried ice-cream, with Kirsten & Shannon, since her 1st birthday...

Back at the house waiting in Shannon's car-SOOOO excited to light the Rapunzel lantern.....it was a little windy, so we tied it to a string (as to not set off any neighborhood forest fires... :)
