The Many Adventures of Emma & Felicity

It's been a whirlwind love affair. Starting the night we arrived at Nana's where she discovered the American Girl stash of Dolls & accessories.
A combination of things my mom collected & things that were my sisters. Felicity was a particular favorite of Emee's because "she has long hair and green eyes like Rapunzel". Her condition is amazing considering she belongs to Hollie & is about 17 years old and still going strong!

Each day was spent dressing each of the 7 dollies, brushing their hair, accessorizing them with various hair pretties & lining them up for slumber parties at night.
But then she died & went to heaven after discovering the droves of dolls at the American Girl store in L.A. Kit was of particular interest. Not sure why. My guess is because she has a dog. :)
The day eventually arrived where Em was going to need to say good-bye to her new friends. She was sad about it. Before hopping in the car to head to the airport, Nana asked Em if she would like to take Felicity with her to visit Ellensburg? Em was ECSTATIC! She promised to take VERY good care of her & quickly grabbed a handful of outfits to go along too!
Here they are-the best of friends, at the San Diego Airport.

And on the plane. Em thought Felicity might prefer to be comfortable in some pajamas for the flight....so she had a quick wardrobe change.
The next day, we were off on yet another trip. Camping! Of course Felicity couldn't miss that!
See Nana-Em is taking VERY good care of her. Buckles her in & everything. She even packed her an overnight bag (see the purple bag on the left?) :)
First night a the RV park, Em met a new friend who (amazingly enough) LOVED DOLLS TOO! Go figure huh? lol. So Em quickly gathered up Felicity & her belongings out of the camper & took her down to introduce her to the new camp friend.

See. Felicity makes friends quickly too! She must get that from her mom EmmaLee?

Last week, Felicity got to go meet Grandma. Em couldn't stop thinking of things for Grandma to sew for Felicity. Grandma whipped up a matching pillow & blanket, as well as a halloween apron for Felicity. Em was OVER THE MOON about it. Still is.

Night Night Felicity. Em said "Her likes the new blank I think mom, cuz she's already sleeping" (hence the eyes that close when she lays on her back. lol )
A couple days later-Em was invited to a Baseball game in Yakima for her friend Ayden's birthday. So, she got Felicity all dressed in her sweatsuit & off they went!

Wonder what grand adventure is in store next? Perhaps a new friend to add to the mix come Christmas? Hmmmmm. :)
Brother on the other hand-could care less about any of this. :)
