For an unbirthday treat, my little sister Ashley took me out for the day-to one of my favorite places.....Seattle! We started off with pedicures that lasted almost 2 hours....DIVINE, and then strolled down to Pikes Place for some bakery treats at Le Panier-yummy, and headed over to Hard Rock for some lunch. Can we say-BEST MASHED POTATOES OF MY LIFE! Wow. Super goodness! The day FLEW by and before we knew it, the time to leave for the airport was upon us. The time always goes by so fast when loved ones visit. Great day-thanks for the birthday outing Ash.

The One I Love
Happy 6th Anniversary Poobee....time spent with you is what makes my life worthwhile :) I love you more everyday. Here's to the past 14 years together-and to whatever the next 14 has in store!
Lots of memories for me in this photo....
This is our favorite memory from our wedding-time to breathe right before the ceremony. We had it enlarged & specially framed. It now sits on our dining room wall, where we reminisce over it.

Grillin'
What do you do on a hot summer night???? You grill with friends! Tonight we hung out with the Moan Family out at their place. The kids LOVE to go there. Never a dull moment. Nothin' to stress about, plenty of room to roam in the country. Emma & Ellie are the greatest of friends. It's pretty sweet to watch them play together-such similar personalities....just 2 peas in a pod. Good times.
One of the most humorous things to watch was the girls' vehicle issues....here's how it went down:

Three of the sweetest little girls you'll ever meet: Amelia, Ellie & Audrey Moan.
Tuckered out-what a terrific night! Thanks for the fun.

Death by Stickers
Ok-maybe not death, but is it necessary for Mike to nap with his hands across his chest like that? :)
The kids obviously took this as their opportunity to slap every sticker they could find all over their dad's body. Notice, the ones on his eyes (at least they didn't use quarters....that might have added to the creepiness), and also note the "earrings"! Mike didn't even budge. The funniest part was Emma came and got me asking for a picture. I grabbed my camera and came in to see this interesting site. Her comment? "Doesn't he look great Mom? Take a picture!" I did and then she held dad's hand and said "Wow-you look so cute like that dadda!" ha ha ha ha. I think he might have laughed if he had the use of his lips behind the sticker!

The Lake
Mike & I haven't been to swim at the lake since our college days, but it was hot today so we thought-why not take the kids to cool off? They LOVED it! Best of all-we got to watch WITHOUT getting in a suit ourselves!
