Earnings

EmmaLee went & had her first cavity filled today. To say I was nervous is a TOTAL understatement. Mike took her. I couldn't stop thinking about her so I decided I had better keep my mind occupied and hands busy to make the time pass more quickly. Needless to say-the basement was finally tidied! :) Mike texted me updates & took pictures through the process which eased my mind. Apparently she did great! Only a single tear down her cheek from nervousness-but other than that, smooth sailing. The report from Mike was that the dentist was most appreciative of her outstanding behavior :) Grandma even got her a snuggle toy to help ease this "experience" too-so thoughtful.

My dad called a couple days ago and let me know they'd be coming through Ellensburg on a quick stop to see us on their way to the Oregon coast! We are so excited! I told Bryce the good news today and he about wet his pants. He has been earning Grandpa's puppies ALL DAY LONG! He was good as gold eating every green bean on his plate during dinner, dressed himself for bed in a flash (which is a MIRACLE) & climbed in bed, not even coming out ONCE proclaiming "I earning Izzy mom. I earning to show Izzy my room!" And wouldn't you know who he decided to sleep with tonight....Izzy the stuffed doggie. He asked me to take this picture and send it to Grandpa & Grammie with a message that he is being "SO good"! Positive reinforcement-we live & breathe it! Thanks for making his day Dad! :) Oh and you might want to apologize to Izzy ahead of time for us :) lol-she may need anxiety meds to get her through your short visit to "Bryce's Room".
