On our last day-Grandpa left for Military Duty & Ashley started her first day of work-so Grammie treated the rest of us to a Day at the Zoo. Ellen & Alice met us there with their Annual passes!
He was hot & bothered...what else is new?

Alice showed us her brick on the snake path in the courtyard.
The new Arctic Zone was open this year!
We used these puppies every chance we got! Water fans= happiness on a 90 degree day.
We even saw "hungry baby Eagles" ;)
My favorite animal obliged the camera and looked right at me for a pic. ;)
One of my favorite parts about Hogle Zoo-the docents are EVERYWHERE! The kids got to pet numerous pellets....Rhinos, Tigers, Polar Bears.....love that.
Bryce compared his "paw" to that of a tiger.
Mike cooling off in the water mister-AGAIN. Doesn't he look thrilled? Don't let him fool you-he honestly had a great time.
As always-Jordan was great with the kids....

While in the Gorilla building-
E: "Why are they eating trees?"
A: "Well-do you like Pizza?"
E: "Yeah"
A: "Well-they like trees!"
A little boogying to music with the Hula Hoops....so fun.
Everyone got in on the action. I love that about my family.
Bryce was astonished that Jordan could even do it around his NECK! lol
