Now that you are FOUR years old, you are growing up so fast! Here are some reflections on the little girl we love so much:

• Favorite Foods: Mac Cheese, Top Ramen, Spaghetti, Chicken Nuggets, Ritz crackers & shape cheese, pretzel sticks w/ cheese, nachos, Red Chippies (Nacho Cheese Doritos), Cheetos, popcorn with cheese sprinkles, baby carrots, shape toast, cinnamon rolls, Grandmas rolls, anything chocolate, raspberries & mandarin oranges-there is certainly a CHEESE theme with you!
• Favorite Songs: Break Your Heart by Tao Cruz,  California Girls by Katy Perry, ENTIRE SOUNDTRACK to Mamma Mia, Firework by Katy Perry, Girls Girls Girls by Motley Crue, Baby by Justin Beiber, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus and I Like It by Enrique Iglesias! 
• Favorite Movies: Mamma Mia, Nightmare Before Christmas (Spooky House), Barbie anything, My Little Pony, Hakuna Patatta (The Lion King), Disney Princess Stories, Ponyo, James & the Giant Peach.
• Favorite Toys: mini disney figurines (you have about 101), Pez dispensers, dress up, playing tea party/cooking & baby dolls. My favorite is when you and brother lay on your backs under the trampoline and pretend to "fix the car" with brothers plastic toolset! :) You have QUITE the imagination!
• Favorite Activities: digging in the dirt, creating things-craft projects are high on your list, cooking (especially baking) & learning new things (like how to write real letters), coming up with reasons to hold a "party" & what the corresponding themes could be! :) (wonder where you get that?)
• My favorite Emee traits: You are very responsible & independent-you pick out your clothes (most days) & dress yourself everyday (though MULTIPLE times a day-just to try on different outfits) and can actually "cook" a decent meal for you & your brother without any help. (There may be a huge mess afterwards but it is still quite impressive) Many times we have woken up to see you cooking waffles, toast or getting cereal for you & brother (who is still sleeping)???  or attempting to make Noodles for lunch??? :) You make me nervous chica-but I am proud that you know how to do these tasks at only 3 years old....Oops-now 4 years old! :)
• You are a quick learner. It is so fulfilling to see you giggle with delight after you've "try try tried" something and accomplished it when you didn't think you could. I love to see the pride you have in yourself afterwards and how your success leads you to want to learn MORE! 
• You are a born leader-independent, strong & smart! You function best when things are fully explained to you before hand (unlike brother who just likes to learn on the fly! lol)-we can almost watch the wheels turn in your head & see how you are taking in all the details. You always teach brother how to do new things & explain to him how things work. You told your teacher at school that you want to be a Teacher when you grow up. She says you constantly have a group around you that you attempt to "lead" in an activity you have created! Big surprise-you'd be a FANTASTIC teacher! Dad & I are rooting for you! 
• You are a lover of puppies, ponies & kittens. You have taken on the chore of feeding our puppies Peyton & Brinkley, and know the things that are safe & unsafe for them. We always find you snuggling with one of them-watching t.v with one, reading to another, or just plain loving on them. You call them your "babies".
• You enjoy the things nature has to offer. You would live outside if we allowed it-any excuse to spend time outdoors, especially going to the beach or "tenting" in the mountains!
• You have a big heart-you don't like to see people hurt & are typically the first to aid them with a hug or by getting adult help. You are great at sharing your things with others-even new things. It is easy to get you to make a good choice when we tell you how it will affect others. (For example: running in the road means you could get hit by a car & momma would be so sad to see you hurt.-general response: "Ok Momma-I won't do that." Such a sweet pea) 
• You are a great snuggle bug. I love when you grab a bowl of popcorn & say "Momma, I will share my popcorn with you, come on-let's snuggle in my bed with my movie!" I love to watch you sleep-it reminds me of the peaceful time we had, just the 2 of us in the hospital those first few precious days. 

EmmaLee, your family loves you very much. Our lives have been so enriched with you in it! You have taught us so much. We thank Heavenly Father everyday for sending you to us, and we hope you will always remain as close to your family as you are now. You mean the world & more to us.
