Being 4 is Fantastic!

Today was the day! Em's surprise mini shopping spree at the Disney store. I asked Nana to send her a birthday gift card so she could go shopping. It ended up being a great idea. Next best thing to Disneyland apparently. She shopped her little heart out & quickly filled a shopping tote full to the brim! Bryce was in hog heaven too! He asked dad is he could do "Buzz shopping" for HIS birthday! lol

Aunt Marcy, Maddy & Grandma walked in & Maddy ran up and gave Em a huge hug....what a fun birthday surprise for Em! She was pretty tickled to see them & Bryce promptly begged "Bamma" to buy him a set of Toy Story figurines....it worked-and soon Grandma was purchasing toys for all the kiddies :) THEY LOVED THAT! :)

Then Em & I ran to get her birthday pictures done at The Picture People (I would have taken them myself but I don't have a damask backdrop yet and you know I have been WAITING for the opportunity to get a cute pict with one. Turns out The Picture People have one & we are still portrait club members for a couple more months....perfect!)

I found her shirt at Carters and fell in love with it INSTANTLY! Paired it with a new grey shirt & black leggings from Gymbo (thank you Gymbucks!), SUPER cute crocs from Grandma & some adorable leg warmers from etsy. Still, something was missing....so I took one of my old shirts that sadly got "eaten" by the washing machine, and repurposed it into a vintage style pom pom headband! Outfit COMPLETE!

Finally Lunch, Birthday Cake & Presents at "fries" (fries @ Red Robin). I had made a few simple "favors" for the kids to enjoy while we were there like these fun Pascal's tongue blowers....

Of course we started with presents...

Aunt Marcy & crew gave her this awesome Tangled Tower! Needless to say she LOVES it!

and Aunt Michelle & girls sent a Baby Alive! Emma is thoroughly enjoying being a mama-she's been feeding and changing soiled diapers & baby outfits like a mad woman! Such is the life of mom-better learn that early chickadee. It's pretty cute to she her cooing to the baby, rocking it & bouncing it when it cries. Funny, the things kids pick up....her favorite phrase is "What's wrong honey? It's ok-Momma's right here...." HA HA HA

What a lucky little girl she is!

The little girl in the background was admiring Em's cake the whole time we were at the restaurant, so Em took over a chocolate lantern & piece of cake to share with her. The little girl was so elated, she brought over one of her new toys she had with her, handed it to EmmaLee and wished her a happy birthday. It was pretty cute. 

After cake, we packed it all up & went our separate ways. Em played with her new treasures the WHOLE WAY HOME :) It was pretty magical day, especially for Emee. What a great time-celebrating our first born. We love you EmmaLee Mae!
