Touch a Truck Day

The city sponsored an event for kids in the community today called "Touch a Truck Day". There were rigs representing a ton of city jobs available for the kids to climb all over & pretty much abuse (just kidding)-but it was great for them to explore them in a safe venue! Having been there-I now know this was Bryce's DREAM day! :) There was the beloved Gator-which he pretended to drive a zillion times....

Then he spotted the Waste Management truck which he lovingly refers to as "Toy Story 3"....if you've seen the movie, you know why.

Getting to check out ONE side of the truck wasn't enough-nope-he waited in line AGAIN on the other side to check that out too!

The ladder truck was pretty neat....

but THIS-was his ALL TIME FAVORITE! The Police Car! The buttons....oh the buttons....life was sweet. Officer Weed even showed him how to mess with the spotlight to bug his sister!

He wasn't planning on leaving any time soon-so he buckled himself in...

continued to mess with more buttons while sister tried to figure out how to get him back with that darn spotlight....

Here he is telling me that he is going to be a Policeman when he grows up! That is news to me-but hey dude, as long as you are riding in the FRONT seat-that sounds fab!

Talkin' shop with the paramedic on the ambulance tour....

wow! Coloring books! And some random truck grease on Emma's sweet face....she told the paramedic she is going to be a Mom, Teacher & Doctor when she grows up. ?????????

The snow blower was pretty sweet....

but AGAIN-not as sweet as the GATOR! :) It was a beautiful day.

Look who even came to take a ride in his own truck! :) We love our Pey Pey boy.
