Holy HEAT WAVE!

It was so hot today that Emma had to have her pony lesson at 8:30am-too bad the teacher was 45 mins late-so it was NOT enjoyable for ANY of us...thank heaven we had the waterpark to look forward to today-we were already ROASTIN' at 9:30 am!

The water park was fantastic-what a way to cool off! Steph went down the big slides a couple times and we made our way over to the lazy river before my camera batteries died-so sorry for the lack of photo journaling. :) Mike and Steph had big plans to have a go at bodyboarding and surfing-but we were all too lazy to get out of the pool and stand in line enduring the heat....so that idea was bagged! :) The only times we got out was to have lunch and reapply sunscreen a billion times-then it was STRAIGHT back  in the water. Of course EmmaLee was finally forced to get out-she'd live in that pool if it was acceptable. We had no idea how hot it really was until we got in the car to come home 4 hours later...pushing 100 is WAY TOO HOT! Glad we have another swim party tomorrow....gotta love summer in Ellensburg! :)
